We were at the airport yesterday to welcome home Caleb Lowery who was just adopted from Ethiopia, and I couldn't help but wonder when and how it might be for us. Adoption is all about waiting, and just like absence makes the heart grow fonder, waiting for something... something as beautiful and wonderful as a life, increases the anticipation and excitement. Will it be a girl? Will it be a boy? Perhaps both? What will they look like? How old will they be? It is our hope and prayer that in 2007, we'll know the answer to all those questions. So we wish you and your family the very best in 2007, and to our children somewhere in Liberia, we look forward to welcoming you home.
Happy New Year!

Dale and Kim,
We are so excited for you as you start this journey! As we were waiting for Caleb, we were often frustrated at how long things were taking and how much we didn't know. Looking back, God's timing was perfect. He brought us directly to the child meant to be in our family, and I am so thankful that it wasn't us in control. We will be praying for you, and are anxious to have another 1 or 2 beautiful African children running around!
